Shroud of Turin Conference in St. Louis was Epic! 425 attendees, 5 days with Shroud experts from around the globe, gathered in St. Louis

The Shroud of Turin 2025 International Conference & Symposium was held from July 30 - August 3. It was an extraordinary gathering at the Augustine Institute near St. Louis—drawing over 425 attendees and featuring 85 presentations from global experts. There were 49 speakers from 10 countries, including the 1978 STURP team leader, John Jackson. Also notable experts were Dr. Giulio Fanti, Tristan Casabianca,  Bob Rucker, Otangelo Grasso, and Pam Moon. The conference will be remembered for featuring a "who's who" of worldwide Shroud leaders and advancing Shroud education. Numerous members of the clergy were present and among the speakers.

Dr. Cheryl White and Fr. Peter Mangum presented and explained the historic and theological importance of Shroud art from their prestigious Richard Orareo Collection, for which they are the caretakers and curators.

Renowned Shroud expert Russ Breault shed new light on misinformation about the Shroud's many burn holes.

Fr. Andrew Dalton, a very popular international Shroud speaker, made several inspiring presentations.

Myra Kahn Adams announced that the National Shroud of Turin Exhibit will have a long-term exhibit at Mary, Queen of the Universe Basilica and National Shrine in Orlando, Florida. More details here.

Many thanks to Pam McCue, who brought her Othonia-based Shroud exhibit to the conference. Rare Shroud art dating back centuries from the prestigious Richard Orareo Collection was also on display. The exhibit was the setting for the Trinity Broadcasting Network (TBN) to record a special episode of the “Praise” show and interview speakers for an upcoming 5-part docuseries about the Shroud.

Shroud lunimaries from left: Nan Balfour is a national speaker. Nora Creech is a team member of the National Shroud of Turin Exhibit (NSTE). She is the leader of Othonia - an international organization dedicated to educating people worldwide about the Holy Shroud through exhibits, conferences, and lectures. Joe Marino leads Shroud.com. He is an author, Shroud expert, and an NSTE team member. John Jackson is the famous co-leader of the 1978 STURP Shroud research project, which, decades later, is still the gold standard of hands-on Shroud testing. Pam McCue is a Shroud expert and well-known for her traveling exhibit. She works closely with Othonia and NSTE.

Its success proved that the Shroud has reached new heights of global interest and popularity with no ceiling. Meanwhile, Shroud research, events, exhibits, and media attention continue unabated at a never-before-seen pace.

The SEEC Conference was dedicated to Barrie Schwortz, a Shroud legend who advanced education and elevated awareness, resulting in the Shroud reaching today's heights of interest with no end in sight. Barrie, you were missed at this conference and in our hearts forever.
